Grand Theft Auto 5 load times have been notoriously long for nearly a decade now, but they're sped up considerably on PS5 and Xbox Series X. It performs better, it looks better, and the load times have also been vastly improved, which is easily one of the best changes when going from the PS4 and Xbox One version to GTA 5 on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Grand Theft Auto 5 on PS5 and Xbox Series X is a visual improvement across the board, regardless of what display option players go with. Performance mode seems like the best bet most of the time, as it allows players to enjoy Grand Theft Auto 5 in 60 frames per second and the drop in graphical quality is hardly noticeable, whereas the drop in frame rate in the Fidelity mode is difficult to deal with after playing in Performance mode. Grand Theft Auto 5's graphics options let fans decide if they prefer higher resolution but a lower frame rate, or a higher frame rate at the cost of resolution. It also runs much smoother, with players able to choose between Performance, Performance RT, and Fidelity modes. Grand Theft Auto 5 next-gen graphics are definitely improved, though of course not in a way that fully takes advantage of the added horsepower. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 don't offer as big of a leap as the game enjoyed when it went from PS3 and Xbox 360 to PS4 and Xbox One, but there are still some notable upgrades. Fast-forward to 2022 and Rockstar Games is releasing Grand Theft Auto 5 yet again, this time for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. A year later, Rockstar Games released an enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto 5 for the then-new PS4 and Xbox One consoles, making some meaningful improvements in the process. When Grand Theft Auto 5 was first released in 2013, it quickly became one of the highest-rated video games ever made and an unprecedented sales success.

Forge of empires plunder3/1/2024 I also don't know why it says I have no world listed, I selected Noarsil the last time I posted but it never shows up. (Sorry for the weird formatting but I don't know how to do paragraph breaks.) This is the first time since the tutorial that I've come across a quest with no peaceful alternative, so I'm stuck. I do wish for every storyline quest that involves fighting, there would be a peaceful alternative presented as well. And my fighting skills would STILL suck-no guarantee I'd win.Īm I forced then to just let this quest sit and never get finished? Does it disappear eventually, or will I HAVE to finish it at some point? If the latter.how?įYI, I'm in the High Middle Ages the giver of the quest is Hasdrubaal Barkas and the sectors I have to choose from are Canturia, Veletrites, Frathia, or Tarmelmann (though I think Barkas intends for me to conquer Tarmelmann). (My automated city defense is better at fighting than I am.) I stopped fighting for sectors as soon as I was able to start producing goods for trade (around the time the tutorial ended) I've traded for each sector ever since, even if it takes a long while to acquire the necessary goods.Īnd temporarily building new military barracks and recruiting more, updated fighters would be a huge waste of my limited resources I'd need to increase my population, and probably build more cultural buildings to boot, just to do that. I have a handful of unattached units I've won in other quests, but none of my units are capable of going up against the sectors I have to choose from (they're all from former ages, or don't have bonuses the enemy has), and even if they were, my fighting skills are horrible. And seeing as I devote most of my (pretty limited) resources to trade and not fighting, I can afford only the minimum when it comes to troops, in my case a single berserker barracks. I'm being asked to either acquire a sector by force, or to plunder one of my neighbors. I've finally come upon a storyline quest that I can neither abort nor accomplish.
